Maintenance Engineer
Coleshill
£49,000 - £49,700 - 36 hours a week (3-shift) - early finish every Friday
2 year FTC - likely to be extended and made permanent 

Shift pattern:
week 1:
Mon - Thurs 6am - 1:30pm / 6am - 12pm Friday

Week 2:
Mon - Thurs 1:30pm - 9pm / 12pm - 6pm Friday

Week 3:
Mon - Thurs 9pm - 6am / Friday OFF

I am recruiting for global Automotive company based in the Birmingham area, they are looking to recruit maintenance engineers on a two years FTC which is likely to be extended by another two years then potentially permanent. They are offering a leading pension package that is the highest in the West Midlands and worth thousands of pounds a year. 

The maintenance engineer role will be working within the assembly department on a brand new line – mainly working with machines that comprise of ABB robots, multi-axis machines, bar code scanners, camera systems, ball screws, HMI's and much more. Ideally you will have had experience within an assembly environment. This wlll involve both reactive maintenance and PPM's. 


Experience required for the maintenance engineer:
 
  • 5 + years working as a maintenance engineer from a manufacturing environment - MUST be multi-skilled
  • Experience with ABB Robots would be advantageous
  • Experience within a production line environment - ideally automotive but would look at other environments
  • Electrically qualified - ideally to level 3 as a maintenance engineer
