Job Description:

MPI are looking for a Project Administrator for a rail infrastructure company. To be based out of Chippenham on a 3 month contract. 

 

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Working alongside the Project site team for the project this role will be responsible for the provision of their professional administration service.  

 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY / TASKS

  • Provide full administrative support for specific projects including typing, filing, document control, database management, document trackers and project correspondence
  • To provide support to the Construction Team as required
  • Support requirements for ad-hoc reports, photocopying and other documents
  • Organise all travel requirements, including hire vehicles, rail warrants, hotels and flights for the project team
  • Liaison with hotels, logistics on behalf of the project
  • Organisation of meeting rooms, including any Video Conference requirements 
  • Liaison for official visitors
  • Any reasonable requests by the management team
  • Taking minutes of meetings 
  • Maintain various day to day operational processes for the section including holiday, whereabouts lists

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Educated to Level 2 – GCSE Grade or equivalent

MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. 

 

COMPETENCIES

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent IT skills (specifically MS Office)
  • The ability to prioritise workload and achieve objectives
  • A high degree of self-direction
  • Hold full UK driving licence
  • Administrative/Office experience 
  • Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels
