Driver Hire Southampton are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team. The perfect candidate will work alongside our experienced consultants who will train and mentor you to become proficient in the daily running of the office as well as building a successful desk of clients in the logistics industry.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Handling incoming calls and making outgoing calls
• Interviewing and registering candidates
• Making new business calls
• Attending client meetings
• Placing adverts for temporary and permanent positions
• Replying to emails and handling queries in a timely manner
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Taking part in a 24 out hours call rota
• Managing a high number of candidates and clients and handling their requirements

This is an entry level sale’s driven role where you will put your focus on building strong relationships with new businesses as well as candidates with the opportunity for learning and progression, so may suit someone looking to start and build a career. Full training will be provided via on the job shadowing with colleagues, online Driver Hire Academy modules and our new Personal Development Hub.

You will be responsible for managing your own desk of clients so good organisational and time management skills are essential.

Driving licence essential

Understanding of the Southampton area is helpful but not essential.

Days of work will be Monday to Friday & hours will be anytime between 08.30-18:00 every day. As a 24 hour operation, being on call to respond to telephone calls at any time is also required away from general working hours (to be discussed more at interview stage).

Starting Salary – OTE Between £27,000 to £30,000
