Driver Hire Southampton are currently recruiting for 7.5T, Class 2 and Class 1 HGV drivers with all levels of experience, whether you are newly qualified or have years of experience we may have just the role for you.

We are currently offering flexible AD HOC work to suit your work requirements. We are working closely with a wide range of clients specialising in the HGV industry around the Hampshire area.

Job details HGV/LGV (Jobs may vary)

• Multi-drop
• Long distance driving
• General distribution
• Cages
• Steel work
• Winter HGV role (ADR)
• Mixture of days and nights

Important requirements from HGV drivers:

• UK HGV licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Experience in tail lifts/ strapping down/ pump trucks preferred but not essential
• Flexible and willing to work overtime if required
• Fantastic customer service and communication skills
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply

Benefits:

• Minimum paid 8-hour day – overtime paid after 8 hours, evening and weekend.

• Rates of pay – PAYE or PAYE ADVANCED ranging from £11.75- £19.05
