TA/ Teaching Assistant needed for Schools in Newcastle

• Are you a Teaching Assistant/TA?
• Are you compassionate and trustworthy?
• Do you have experience working with KS1 & KS2?
• Do you have an enhanced DBS?

Schools across Newcastle are looking for a caring and experienced Teaching Assistant’s to help support children within the classroom assisting their learning experience.  

The post will involve working with a class of children and working in small groups, assisting with curriculum support. Experience working in a classroom is essential and someone who is confident and proactive are advised to apply.

The adult required ideally should have

• Primary school experience
• Knowledge of national curriculum
• Experience of dealing with challenging behavior
• Must have a significant awareness of the need to keep children safe
• Warming and nurturing nature

Above all we require a caring adult who puts the needs of children first and will actively contribute towards a nurturing and caring environment.

The post is ongoing and varies from part/full time hours

To be part of this team you will ideally need to be:

• A team player
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 Qualified
• Minimum of 6 months school experience
• Able to adapt to all environments
• Experience working in groups and 1:1
• An enhanced DBS on the update service
