Role Overview: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth running of the school by covering lessons in the absence of teachers. You will be responsible for ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning and follow pre-set work. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in an educational setting, making it ideal for individuals looking to pursue a career in teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the classroom environment during teacher absences.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and instructions to students.
• Ensure a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Manage student behavior and promote a respectful and productive classroom environment.
• Liaise with teaching staff and senior leadership to maintain continuity in the absence of teachers.
• Support students in their learning journey and address any questions or concerns.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Previous experience working in an educational setting 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
• Enthusiasm for working with young people and supporting their educational development.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
