Job Description:
Orion are partnered on an opportunity for a well versed Quality Manager to join our scientific client located in the heart of Farnham on a contract basis for approximately 12 months. As the Interim Quality Manager you will be reporting into the UK Head of Quality and take full responsibility for the Quality Control Departments.
Due to the nature of the business, the majority of their work is performed in either Laboratories or Clean Room environments, so it is imperative you have experience of leading a team in this type of engineering environment.
Your responsibilities as Interim Quality Manager will also include;
- Lead and manage a laboratory operation, which includes the QC testing of raw materials, excipients, components, in process intermediates and finished products such that results are generated in a timely manner according to established written procedures and GMP.
- Review and approve reports, investigations, validations required by company
- Identifies, priorities, and champions continuous improvement projects in the Laboratory to deliver improvement targets through the use of appropriate Lean tools (such as VSM, 5S,Lean Enabling Projects implementation and control etc)
This opportunity is a contract vacancy and will be for an initial period of 12 months, but could be extended. The hourly rate will be between £50.00 to £60.00 per hour (DOE) and due to the nature of the business will be an Inside IR35 contract.
