Specifications Technologist – Food Manufacturing

Job Title: Specifications Technologist

Salary: c£32k

Location: Middlesex

Shift: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

The Role:

• Review and sign-off of all Raw ingredients Specifications.
• Complete provisional and finished product specifications for customers.
• Dealing with specifications related queries on behalf of the customers and update product specifications in accordance with the review policies of the customer.
• Participate in technical meetings and carry out supporting activities within the technical department.
• Assist with carrying out site internal audits using BRCGS FS standards.

The Candidate:

• Experience with retailer specifications systems.
• Excellent IT Skills
• Will have close attention to detail.
• Self-organised approach, being able to prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills being able to communicate effectively and be a team player within a close-knit team.
