Role Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for a Bed Every Night (ABEN) Support Worker deliver a complex needs service for women who are homeless providing a high quality and individualised service, putting in place appropriate support for those people who are experiencing multiple and challenging barriers to life.

You will work with clients on a one-to-one basis to assist them to make informed choices and remain safe. You’ll deliver front line service delivery to the highest quality, using reflection to improve practice and enabling clients to develop themselves and advance their independence, assisting them to access longer term safe housing and ultimately employment, education and training.

You will have previous experience supporting women with barriers to life and learning, you will hold a qualification or equivalent to Diploma/ Degree/NVQ 3 or equivalent work level experience and the willingness to achieve a level 3 relevant qualification

Due to the nature of this role you will be a female as this role will work with women who will have faced domestic abuse. You will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check and there will be regular travel across Greater Manchester so access to your own vehicle is essential.
