The company was founded by development engineers who used their considerable knowledge and skills in mechanical, electrical, and robotic technologies to develop special machinery to increase manufacturing efficiency and product quality.  

As the mechanical design engineer, you'll be tasked with creating mechanical designs for new projects, turning concepts into cost-effective machine designs and customising existing designs to the customers specification. You'll be responsible for supplier liaison and all design aspects of projects through to final delivery and installation.

What we would like from the Mechanical Design Engineer:

• HND/Degree or equivalent experience in relevant discipline
• Must be able to prepare design concepts, dimension and geometrically tolerance part drawings and produce assembly drawings
• Knowledge and experience of designing automated process equipment
• Extensive experience of SolidWorks or similar 3D design software
• Desire to be involved in the full product life cycle
• Knowledge and experience of material selection and creating detailed BOMs
• Value engineering and analysis experience would be beneficial

• Salary up to £45,000 doe
• 12.30pm Friday finish
