Trainee Account Manager – Surrey

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 DOE + Commission (OTE £45,000)

Working hours: Monday to Friday 08.30:17:00

My client is a global market leader in the Technology Industry and have an opportunity for a Trainee Sales Account Manager to join their team at their office in Surrey.

What will I be doing as a Trainee Sales Account Manager?

Your role as a Trainee Sales Account Manager would be to nurture and grow an existing account base, always ensuring outstanding customer service levels. You will ensure your accounts orders are processed and delivered smoothly. To your accounts, you will be the face of the company and the go to person, should they have any queries. This role requires you to be extremely proactive and determined to be successful, you will aim to grow your accounts spending year on year, looking for sales development opportunities as you go.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Carrying out regular account reviews with customers.
• Ensuring that customers are kept in the loop with new products and services available and that they have a clear understanding of pricing.
• Working closely with customers to identify opportunities for upsell of additional products that can add value.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

What are we looking for in our Trainee Sales Account Manager?

• Previous sales experience ideally over the phone. (3-6 months minimum).
• Excellent people and relationship building skills/Commercial acumen.
• A real desire to learn and have a career.
