Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Tutor/Teacher who will deliver engaging interventions to ex-offenders currently on licence.

You will deliver a host of sessions covering life skills, confidence, motivation, attitudes, and behaviors as part of a wider engagement piece support ex-offenders on their journey to rehabilitation, with a view to stopping the re-offending cycle.  You will empower learners through group and 121 sessions, addressing their barriers to achievement and progression.  Delivery will be a mixture of accredited and non-accredited courses.

At each intervention you will deliver information, guidance, and training sessions to participants.  You will plan all delivery including creating resources, writing schemes of work and lesson plans. You will have experience working with this client group, you will be confident in all areas of delivery, having delivered short interventions before.  Ideally you will have a teaching qualification, or you will have transferable skills.

Due to the nature of this role, you will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check and there may be regular travel across the region so access to your own vehicle is essential.
