Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Planning Engineer with a robust background in planning within the manufacturing or engineering sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in orchestrating the production lines, ensuring seamless operations and supporting the growth of the business.

Responsibilities for the Planning Engineer:

• Generate and manage work orders to optimize production efficiency.
• Organize and maintain digital route cards to streamline manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with Production Engineers to enhance overall production capabilities.
• Provide technical support to customers and address order queries promptly.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes.

Qualifications and Experience for the Planning Engineer:

• Proven background in planning within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of electronic assembly processes.
• Ability to interpret and comprehend engineering drawings.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving approach.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and planning software is advantageous.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
