Service Engineer

Are you a Service Engineer looking for an exciting new job opportunity?

We are working with a company looking for a new Service Engineer to join the team and travel around the UK and the globe. Based at the headquarters in the UK you will service and maintain the process plant and machinery equipment while having the chance to travel nationwide and overseas to on-site locations.

The company is a world leader in the design, manufacture, installation, and management of process plant equipment.

What will you do?

The Service Engineer will be based in the UK and be required to work nationwide and overseas for on-site client commissioning, servicing and maintaining client plant equipment.

Duties

• Conducting routine maintenance on manual and automated plant equipment at our client's facilities, adhering to our standard procedures.
• Performing a comprehensive survey of plant and machinery at client sites, documenting any faults and outlining repair needs.
• Executing repairs and maintenance tasks on manual and automated plant equipment within our client works.
• Installing manual and automated plant machinery at client worksites.
• Conducting system testing and commissioning activities

Skills

• Engineer with qualifications in both Mechanical and Electrical fields.
• Experienced in various areas including pneumatics, heating, cooling, control systems, pumping systems, process valves, instrumentation, and steam heating systems.
• Proven track record of working with PLCs, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Demonstrated experience in the installation of large-scale capital equipment products.
• Openness to travel internationally when necessary.
