Process Development Manager – Food Manufacturing

Location: West Midlands

Salary: c£50k

Summary:

The successful candidate will lead customer/category Product Development activity to achieve targets, deliver right first time launches and also act as the customer’s first POC

The Role:

• Taking responsibility for the project management of all customer and category product development activity to meet critical path and feasibility plans, ensuring successful right first time launches
• Contributing product knowledge and customer insight within the category team, ensuring development is aligned with customer requirements and financial measurements
• Test the design of new product concepts throughout the creative and implementation stage
• Build and maintain customer relationships, acting as dedicated customer/category contact
• Develop team capability through coaching and development

The Candidate:

• Ideally degree educated/degree level in consumer science or with equivalent knowledge
• Experience delivering high quality, sustainable commercial products within food
• Ability to lead multiple projects and prioritise own and others focus
• Demonstrate leadership qualities
• Good understanding of food manufacturing principals demonstrated through feasibility of proposals
