Are you an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager?
Do you have experience in drawing designs?
Can you use AutoCAD and SolidWorks?
Do you have experience of project management?
Do you come from a strong mechanical engineering background?

You will be managing the Engineering design department’s operations, ensuring the efficient production of all Customer purchasing, manufacturing drawings, working closely with internal departments in a collaborative way to ensure that projects are delivered in the best possible way. You would be managing a highly skilled Engineering team of 5 daily, ensuring that designs are created in a timely fashion and you would have the autonomy to run this department in the best possible way.

Key Responsibilities will include:
Assigning contracts to engineers and ensuring project ownership, timely execution, and customer satisfaction.
Coordinating pre-engineering and production meetings to clarify project scopes and customer requirements.
20% of the role will be drawing designs.
Identify and implement new processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Responsible for ensuring that all product designs are to the correct standard, are cost effective and fit for purpose.

If you have experience with Epicor ERP system, then this is desirable but not essential but experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential.
