Technical Design and Support Engineer (Renewables/Underfloor Heating)**

Worcester, Worcestershire
£30,000 to £35,000
Flexible working. Flexible hours, 3 days in the office.

**Company Overview:**
Join our small, forward-thinking team, a well respected player in the renewables industry committed to sustainable solutions. We are seeking a dynamic individual for a Technical Design and Support Engineer position to contribute to our growth and success.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **UFH CAD Design:**
   - Produce precise UFH CAD pipe layout drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
   - Collaborate with internal teams to optimize designs for efficiency and performance.

2. **Client Interaction:**
   - Engage with Architects, installers, and end clients from the initial project inquiry through to installation and commissioning.
   - Provide exceptional customer support, addressing inquiries and maintaining positive client relationships.

3. **Logistical/Project Management Support:**
   - Assist in logistical and project management tasks, ensuring smooth project execution.
   - Contribute to front-end sales by providing technical expertise during client interactions.

4. **Quoting and Documentation:**
   - Utilize in-house programs to generate UFH quotes, demonstrating proficiency in quoting processes.
   - Assist in the maintenance and development of the technical document library.

5. **Technical Support:**
   - Handle incoming calls related to product failures, control issues, and other technical inquiries.
   - Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.

**Qualifications:**

1. Previous experience in underfloor heating (UFH) or renewables is highly desirable.
2. Proficiency in CAD software, Excel, and CRM systems.
3. Strong IT skills with a keen interest in developing business in the renewables sector.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
