Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Toolmaker to join our team. This role involves a broad range of engineering tasks within our workshop environment. The successful candidate will adhere to organisational policies, foster good working relationships, and represent our company positively.

Role Responsibilities for the successful Toolmaker
 

• Interpret engineering drawings for the repair and modification of Extrusion tooling.
• Operate workshop machinery, including CNC wire eroders, laser welders, vertical milling machines, and more.
• Assist with any tooling matters, complete tasks efficiently, and ensure quality through attention to detail.
• Work independently and within a team, maintaining high levels of housekeeping and communication.

Mandatory Responsibilities for the Toolmaker
 

• Develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel.
• Uphold the company's corporate image and core values.

Skills/Abilities
 

• Level 3 qualification in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Toolmaker qualification
• Experience with CNC wire erosion and laser welding preferred.
• Good numeracy, literacy, and PC operational skills.
• Time-served apprenticeship is preferable.
