Project Engineer 

Salary: £50-55k plus a 7.5 annual bonus

Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm - with an early finish on Fridays

Responsibilities of this Project Engineer role: 
- Understand and implement improvements in management processes.
- Identify and address bottlenecks in general efficiencies.
- Focus on reducing waste and increasing throughput in production volume.
- Manage new machine installations, including integration into the current line and a 12/14-month plan for a fully automated line.
- Oversee filling, packing, and final stages of production, ensuring the product is ready for shipment.
- Play a key role in the preparation and facilitation of processes, with a preference for hands-on capability and understanding.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S and 6 Sigma knowledge.
- Consideration for candidates with previous experience in food/pharma industries, particularly in high-volume packaging.
- Familiarity with cleanroom environments and adherence to protocols.
- Quick learning and capability to oversee line installations within 10 months.
- Utilize qualifications in Prince/CAD/Solidworks, though not mandatory.
- Time-served experience with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical aspects.
