Diesel Field Service Technician

Salary: £27,000-40,000

Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30pm + overtime & expenses

Location: Home base but off-site

Our client is looking for a Diesel Field Service Technician in Southwest England to join their team.

Responsibilities for the Diesel Field Service Technician.

• Dynamic role: Tackle troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls on a wide range of diesel engines, spanning from mid-range to High Horse Power. Work across diverse markets including On-Highway, Off-Highway, Industrial, Marine, and Powergen.
• On-site and workshop expertise: Be the go-to expert, making a real impact on customer sites and in our workshops. Embrace occasional travel for on-site support.
• Precision and excellence: Deliver top-notch service every time, following documented procedures and utilizing cutting-edge electronic tools
• Mentorship opportunity: Share your expertise by providing guidance to our up-and-coming technicians.

Experience/ Qualifications for the Diesel Field Service Technician

• Qualifications:

Vocational diploma

Significant field service experience

A passion for engines required

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician preferred
