Step Teachers are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for their ARP unit within a mainstream primary school in New Southgate. The position starts upon finding a suitable SEND Teaching Assistant and continues indefinitely for the benefit of the students' continuity. Candidates should possess experience in a similar role due to the diverse needs of the students.

As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Make a positive impact, academically, socially and emotionally within the classroom
• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivery of activities
• Assess and feedback to the class teacher regarding this student's learning journey
• Providing feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements

Requirements of an SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Experience with children at primary age, with a range of needs
• Previous experience working in an SEND Teaching Assistant role in a primary school
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parent
