An exciting opportunity awaits you at a high-achieving all-girls school in Tower Hamlets. The school is seeking a Science teacher to start ASAP. You will be teaching Science from key stages 3 to key stages 4. This is a long-term opportunity working 4 days a week from Tuesdays to Fridays that would run until at least the end of the academic year and could become permanent for the ideal Science teacher. The school is easily accessible by public transport from the surrounding areas of London. 

The Role:

• Strong knowledge of the science curriculum. 
• Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources.
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
• As a Science teacher, you need to have the ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience teaching science at the secondary level. 
• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best. 
• As a Science teacher, you must have excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners. 
• A desire to contribute to the vibrant school community and engage in extracurricular activities.
