Step Teachers, a preferred supplier for Teach in Herts, are looking for an Early Years/KS1 Class Teacher in a Primary School in Bishop's Stortford. This part time Early Years/KS1 Class Teacher role starts in April and continues for 1 academic term. This Early Years/KS1 Class Teacher role is in a mixed Reception and Year 1 Class and is Monday to Thursday. 

This one form-entry Primary School is rated 'Good' by Ofsted and aims for students to leave with a love of learning that will continue throughout their life. The school values respect and strives to not only support students academically but support their well being too.

Role of Early Years/KS1 Class Teacher:

• Strong knowledge of the curriculum in at Early Year and KS1
• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
• Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
• Able to plan and deliver engaging lesson that can be adapted to the needs of the class
• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Early Years/KS1 Class Teacher Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teaching Status
• Recent mainstream school-based experience as a Primary School Teacher
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
• Experience working with SEND is desirable
