Double Days – Mon – Fri (Early Finish Friday)

We are looking for a hands-on maintenance team leader to join a growing team of 6 within the maintenance department at our manufacturing facility based in Tamworth! This role is perfect for a senior engineer or someone with a wealth of experience in a manufacturing environment to step into a role where they will be challenged and grow on their experience.

We are market leaders in manufacturing of our bespoke line of products supplying to many of the big players within this industry.

The Role

  • Directly responsible for 2 maintenance engineers at any one time.
  • Still a hands-on role (80:20 hands on vs desk based) – Day to day planned and reactive maintenance on filling machines, mixing machines, picking robots, extrusion machines, compressor systems amongst other plant-based machinery.
  • Adhering to all local compliance and Health and Safety regulations

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a multi skilled maintenance engineer – Ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Apprentice trained or qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in a maintenance discipline.
  • Prior experience in a team lead/supervisors’ capacity
