Due to an extended period of exponential growth, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our expanding design team.

About The Mechanical Design Engineer Role

You will be responsible for mechanical design and development of bespoke equipment and machines.

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for:

• Design mechanical components/systems for test and assembly equipment, meeting customer specs.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers for seamless integration of mechanical/electrical systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for design safety.
• Use CAD software for detailed engineering drawings.
• Oversee manufacturing to ensure accurate production.
• Participate in project meetings for progress and solutions.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, addressing issues.
• Perform testing and inspections to meet standards.
• Collaborate with customers for feedback and revisions.
• Stay updated on mechanical engineering trends for improved performance.

A successful Mechanical Design Engineer will need:

• 5+ years of machinery or equipment design experience
• Proficiency in 3D CAD.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with relevant certifications.
• Demonstrate extensive engineering experience in mechanical design.
