As the business continues to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and talented Graduate CAD Coordinator to join the team and play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between design and patternmaking.

Position Overview: As a Graduate CAD Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, responsible for translating design concepts into detailed CAD models that seamlessly connect with the patternmaking process. This role offers a unique opportunity for a recent graduate to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world aerospace manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. CAD Modeling: Understanding detailed CAD models based on design specifications, ensuring alignment with manufacturing requirements.
  2. Communication: Act as a liaison between the design and patternmaking teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Design Integration: Work closely with design engineers to interpret and integrate design concepts into functional CAD models, considering both aesthetics and manufacturing feasibility.
  4. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of CAD models to ensure precision, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
  5. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of CAD models, design changes, and project progress to facilitate seamless handover to the patternmaking team.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor) with a strong understanding of aerospace design principles.
  3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  4. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
  5. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
