Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an Employment Specialist who will deliver 1-2-1 support and group sessions to customers who have multiple and complex needs including substance misuse, debt, housing etc.

You will work intensively with a fluctuating caseload of customers; you will build rapport and mentor each customer in to meaningful employment. You will complete individual diagnostics with each customer, identify areas of development and opportunities to upskill with a goal of helping customers to secure work. You will set SMART targets, reviewed at each intervention and you will work with partner organisations including JCP, Probation Service, Local Authorities, Housing etc. to ensure customers have a access to all the support they need.

You will have excellent communication skills, be approachable and confident in supporting customers to access the support needed. You will be able to negotiate and mentor each customer throughout their journey in to employment. You will have excellent IT skills and be able to use all Office 365 applications.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. You will also have access to your own vehicle as this role will be based across the region.
