Having been established in 2000, my client has quickly developed into one of the UK's leading suppliers of Robot based Automation and Control Systems.

As the Project Engineer, you will be required to provide co-ordination and management of complex automation projects, within cost and time-scale constraints for different industries, especially Automotive, and Materials Handling projects, whilst ensuring the customer's expectations are fully met. Within the role you will develop functional design specifications, ensure compliance with relevant standards, organise regular project reviews, manage budgets and control project expenditure, generate quotations, specifications and manage customer change order requests, negotiate customer additional costs with customers and raise purchase requests.

What we would like from the Project Engineer:

• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering and/or educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
• Knowledge of industrial control system principles and standard approaches
• Experience liaising with all internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Project
• Experience managing the Full Project Lifecycle (desirable)
• Experience using Eplan (desirable)
