Job Title: Shift Manager

Salary: Circa £54,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing teams of production staff across various shifts.
• Overseeing bakery production operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Implementing production schedules and ensuring targets are met.
• Monitoring equipment performance and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Upholding health and safety standards and promoting a culture of safety.
• Training and developing staff to optimize performance and productivity.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions.
• Collaborating with other departments to meet production goals and customer demands.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a bakery or food manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of bakery production processes and equipment.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
• Flexibility to work 4 on 4 off shifts, including days and nights.
• A passion for delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
