Technical Sales Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + opportunity to earn 10% annual bonus.

Working hours: Monday to Friday – Flexible shift options available between the hours of 08.15 – 17.00.

Working Model: Remote

The company provide revolutionary products to the civil engineering and construction sectors. Due to growth, we are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join their already thriving team.

About the Role:

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:
 

  • You will proactively seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with existing and previous customers.
  • Targeting main contractors & end-user clients.
  • You will focus on outreach, generating supply and install sales enquiries.
  • Discover and establish new specifications and identify potential projects.
  • To visit and build relationships with consultant engineers, civil engineering contractors, councils and agencies with a view to gaining specifications and promoting the full product range.



What are we looking for in our new Technical Sales Manager?
 

  • Experience working in building materials sales.
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of the construction application and requirements of the customer and then identify the appropriate products for the specific application.
  • Ability to work smart, research, identify, and act on data.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced enthusiastic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Tenacious and a liking for cold calling.
  • Dealing with a wide range of order values.
