Key Responsibilities of a Development Engineer:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, design, and develop new medical devices from inception to commercialisation.
• Design of components or subsystems for medical devices
• Verification and Validation Testing
• Assessment of the feasibility of new designs
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify market needs, technological trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Utilise engineering principles and methodologies to optimise product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Generate comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test protocols, and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications of a Development Engineer:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in medical device development, including design control processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA guidelines).
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) and finite element analysis (FEA) tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
