Job Description:
We are recruiting an Employment Specialist who will provide intensive support to job seekers who present with multiple health and personal related barriers to work.  Referrals will come via Community Mental Health teams and working in partnership you will support each customer to find employment whilst breaking down each of their barriers to employment.

You will work intensively with each customer, completing in-depth diagnostics at the first intervention to understand, identify and create SMART actions to address their barriers to employment. You will match each customer with identified internal/external provision to increase their skills, self-worth and confidence whilst helping customers to apply for jobs, prepare for interviews and ultimately secure employment. You will have a person-centred approachable towards each customer which will help them to move closer to being work ready.  Once employment is secured, you will provide in-work support to ensure any problems are overcome and the employment sustains.

We are eager to speak to applicants who currently work with job seekers, and we are also open to those with transferable skills (minimum of 2 years) in providing advice and guidance to customers seeking to gain new skills/abilities to increase their confidences and personal skillset.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. You will also have access to your own vehicle as this role will be based across the region.
