Orion Automation are supporting a leading systems integration company on a newly created Control System Engineer position.

Our client has an extensive history of designing, integrating, and commissioning, industrial automation processes and production control systems for use in a wide variety of industries, including Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Nuclear, and many more.

Due to securing long-term, high-value projects, we are supporting a newly created Control System Engineer position, based out of their Alton offices.

The Role:

• Designing, programming, testing, and commissioning control systems.
• PLC programming for Industrial Automation projects.
• This will involve hands-on hardware and software design and on-site commissioning when required.
• Receive hands-on training from a team of highly experienced expert engineers.
• Working on projects individually or as part of a larger team.
• Travel to UK customer sites as and when required.

The Person:

• Degree in industrial engineering.
• PLC programming experience.
• Commutable.
