Step Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS1 Class Teacher to join our dedicated team on a full-time, temporary basis with the opportunity of a permanent role. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in Key Stage 1, helping them to achieve their full potential and develop a love for learning. 

This amazing school in Palmers Green require a KS1 Class Teacher to help pupils grow and develop into responsible young people who enjoy learning and aspire to achieve their full potential.

KS1 Class Teacher Role: 

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of Key Stage 1 students.
  • As a KS1 Class Teacher you will create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes active participation and independent learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning environment.

KS1 Class Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching Key Stage 1 students.
  • A thorough understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective pedagogical approaches.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons effectively as KS1 Class Teacher.
