Mechanical Design Engineer

We are working with a company based in Sheffield looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the ever-expanding team. They address custom mechanical handling obstacles in hazardous settings. Employing our established methodology, we blend project execution with extensive engineering expertise to provide reliable solutions tailored to the most rigorous demands.

They are considering both Midway to Senior Mechanical Design Engineers.

Role as the Mechanical Design Engineer

'' Develop design solutions that meet customer requirements.

'' Create 3D CAD models for proposed designs.

'' Generate comprehensive drawing packages for manufacturing, including general arrangements and fabrication.

'' Maintain organised documentation and compile a Technical File throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills as the Mechanical Design Engineer

'' Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.

'' Proficiency in 3D Software such as Solidworks or Inventor.

'' Ability to perform structural and mechanical calculations using MathCAD or similar tools.

'' Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis software.
