The Head of Operations will be responsibile for: 

Operational Goals Alignment:

  • Align all operations (Supply Chain, Manufacturing) goals with the overarching business targets, budgets, and strategy.
  • Ensure internal and external customer requirements are integrated into operational objectives.

Delivery Optimization:

  • Streamline delivery processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products or services to customers.
  • Minimize lead times and enhance delivery reliability through effective supply chain and manufacturing management.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and creativity among employees.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and other best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact operations, such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, or safety hazards.
  • Implement robust contingency plans to minimize the impact of unforeseen events on business operations.

In order to be considered from the role, you will need to be able to demonstrate: 

  • Extensive experience in Operations Management within the engineering and manufacturing sector 
  • Managed multi-sites 
  • Ability to prioritise customer and commercial needs while striving for enhanced quality.
  • Strong awareness of organisational strategy and ability to influence
  • Lean Certified
