Responsibilities/Accountabilities of this Financial Controller role:
- Lead and mentor our finance team amidst the tranquil beauty of Monmouth, fostering their growth and collective success for the duration of the contract.
- Immerse yourself in the essence of Monmouth's countryside as you ensure the effectiveness of our financial controls, refining them with precision in alignment with the ABF controls framework.
- Like a painter capturing the essence of the landscape, identify procedural weaknesses and implement solutions to maintain the integrity of our financial records amidst Monmouth's serene backdrop.
- Navigate the financial landscape with agility and poise, producing budgets and forecasts that harmonize with the rhythms of our business management endeavors.
- Consolidate financial data across our global entities, ensuring each piece fits seamlessly into the grand tapestry of our operations.
- Craft management accounts that resonate with the essence of our business needs, tailored with the same care and attention as the natural beauty that surrounds us.
- Analyze sales and manufacturing data with the keen eye of an explorer, uncovering trends and anomalies amidst the rich tapestry of Monmouthshire's landscape.
- Submit reports with the punctuality of the rising sun, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in every detail.
- As the seasons change, compile year-end files and collaborate with auditors, navigating the financial landscape with grace and precision.
- Collaborate with departments to capture the financial impact of their activities amidst the idyllic surroundings of Monmouth's countryside.
- Maintain an up-to-date cash flow forecast, ensuring our financial journey flows smoothly amidst the ebb and flow of nature's rhythms.
- Monitor our cost base with the same vigilance as a shepherd guarding his flock, ensuring we achieve value for money across all goods and services.
- Provide the strategic compass that guides our business towards its goals, amidst the timeless beauty of Monmouth's countryside.
- Offer ad-hoc support as required by the Finance Director, adapting to the ever-changing landscape of our business with agility and poise.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Attributes of this Financial Controller role:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in line management, with the ability to support and develop a small team.
- Familiarity with SAGE Accounting system. 
- Experience with group reporting requirements.
