Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Salisbury

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Type: Permanent, Start date ASAP

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer on behalf of our client that specialises in the design and manufacture of products for the agricultural industry. This Electrical Design Engineer will be involved in the full product lifecycle including designing and testing their new and existing product range. This is a great opportunity for someone who is very hands on, wants full autonomy in the role and is eager to take on new projects.

Electrical Design Engineer responsibilities:

• New product development and implementation
• Generate wiring schematic designs, layout plans and drawings using SEE electrical
• Design and specifications of bespoken ventilation control systems
• Review customer specifications and requirements
• Modifications of existing Mechanical drawings using Solidworks
• Create BOM's and production routings
• Provide on going technical support for existing electrical and mechanical products

Requirements for the Electrical Design Engineer:

• Panel design and wiring knowledge
• CAD software experience '' Solidworks preferrable
• Experience with BS7671: 2018 (18th Edition) and BS EN 60204: 2018
• Experience in designing and creating wiring schematics and assembly drawings using electrical CAD software
