As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing machinery and equipment designs, prioritizing functional safety aspects for the automotive and aerospace industries. Your role will involve creating innovative solutions that align with industry standards and drive efficiency in assembly and testing processes.

Senior Electrical Design Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Head electrical design for assembly/testing machinery, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define specs and seamlessly integrate electrical designs.
• Advocate for safety principles, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance (e.g., ISO 26262).
• Innovate electrical systems for improved efficiency and reliability in testing and assembly.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering an innovative culture of excellence within the team.

Senior Electrical Design Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in electrical design for automotive and aerospace machinery.
• Demonstrated success applying safety principles (e.g., ISO 26262) in machinery design.
• Skilled in electrical design software, and experienced with automation systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and innovative approach in design challenges.
