Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for Employment Advisors across Manchester, Salford or Trafford to deliver intensive support to job seekers who are furthest from the labour market and who may present with mental or physical barriers to work.


You will support job seekers who might be claiming/not claiming benefits but they have the aspiration to work. You will meet weekly either in a centre or in the community providing face-to-face and telephone support over an intensive programme.  You will connect customers with courses and additional learning to move them closer to the labour market.

You will quickly build rapport, complete diagnostics and set SMART targets to ensure each customer progresses in to employment. You will have excellent communication skills, be approachable and confident in supporting customers to access the support needed. You will be able to negotiate and mentor each customer throughout their journey in to employment. You will have excellent IT skills and be able to use all Office 365 applications.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. You will also have access to your own vehicle as this role will be based across the region.
