Senior Production Operative


Job Description:

Our Well established Display and Signage company based in West Yorkshire are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Production Operative to join their team.

Our client is currently undergoing a massive period of growth and are showing no sign of slowing down, they are looking for somebody that will report directly to the Director and be responsible for making sure all jobs in Print and finishing are completed correctly and on time.

Some of the essential experience required for this Senior Production Operative:

  • Wide format digital print experience
  • Fabric printing
  • Laminating
  • CAD cut
  • Trimming & Mounting
  • Experience in managing a team of people
  • Dealing with different media types
  • Pre-production
  • Managing colour
  • Quality control management

Knowledge required:

  • Able to demonstrate good people management tools and techniques.
  • General awareness of health and safety legislation and good practice.
  • Ability to problem solve and think on feet.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Effective listening skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good teamworking ability.
  • Great eye for detail.
  • Computer literate, IT skills: Excel, Word, e-mail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise.
  • Able to work under own initiative.

Salary: Up to £15 for the right candidate

Shifts: Mon – Fri working hours between 6am and 10pm on a rotating shift pattern.
