Our client stands out as a beacon of excellence, offering an exceptional workplace environment. Due to further expansion, we are working on embedding their next Engineering Facilities Manager for them which will be a full time, permanent role. 

What will you be doing as their Engineering Facilities Manager?

  • Spearhead their latest facility project, acting as their subject matter expert to ensure safety and sustainability are top of the priority list! 
  • Collaborating with other members of the senior leadership team on creating both short-term and long-term road maps for site KPI's.
  • Negotiate and have a tactical mind set when handling utility providers based on consumption, environmental factors. 
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment 
  • Hold the purse strings for the facility budget - managing spend planning etc. 

What experience do you need to be able to demonstrate?

  • Solid and significant experience of working in a similar role or job titles such as; Facilities Project Manager, Facilities Manager 
  • Strong grasp of how to plan facilities maintenance work whilst ensuring that minimum disruption is caused
  • Well versed in road-mapping future facilities activities i.e. factory re-layouts,
  • Practically Minded - you are able to demonstrate that you know the impact of what certain works will/how impact businesses as well as the turn-around time that is realistic to resolve issues.
