A ‘Good’ school in Camden are seeking a Teacher of Religious Studies to join them ASAP until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time role working 5 days a week. Pupils at the school, including disadvantaged pupils, make strong progress and have positive attitudes to learning. The school has excellent transport links and is located very close to the Northern Line.

The Role:

• Strong knowledge of the Religious Studies curriculum.
• Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources.
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
• As the Teacher of Religious Studies, you must have the ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience teaching RS at secondary level.
• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
• As a Teacher of Religious Studies, you must have excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
