Job Description:

Step Teachers are seeking a Year 2/3 Class Teacher to join their team starting in September. This opportunity is available to an experienced teacher with a deep understanding of the KS1 and lower KS2 curriculum. The school, rated "good" by Ofsted, prioritises student well-being and offers an enriching curriculum that encourages children to explore learning through engaging topics.

Your role as a Year 2/3 Class Teacher:
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
  • Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment
  • Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these
To be considered for the Year 2/3 Class Teacher role, you will:
  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
  • Have strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Have recent experience as a Year 2/3 Class Teacher in a primary school
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
