We are recruiting for inspirational Youth Engagement Workers to support young people across Oldham and Rochdale to overcome personal and professional challenges, helping them to move into education, employment, and training (EET) and you will work to ensure that their placement/course sustains.

You will work to identify young people, engaging with schools, colleges, training providers, youth centres, statutory services etc. to promote the service which is designed to support young people to gain skills, breakdown barriers to learning/work and to holistically support their aspirations whilst identifying new learning/work opportunities for them.

You will have previous experience engaging with young people aged 15-19 and up to 24 if they have SEND needs or healthcare plans.  You will be passionate in supporting young people and be skilled in managing the complex challenges and barriers they present with. You will be able build rapport quickly whilst managing a caseload and reporting on interventions whilst creating SMART targets at each customer meeting.

Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be a vehicle driver with access to your own vehicle and you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
