Our Well established Display and Signage company based in West Yorkshire are on the lookout for an experienced Head Sign Fitter to join and lead their installation team.

Our client is currently undergoing a massive period of growth and are showing no sign of slowing down, they are looking for somebody that will report directly to the Director and be responsible for making sure all jobs are installed correctly, safely and in a timely manner.

This role would require somebody that has experience with shopfront hoardings, detailed window displays for a number a blue chip retail brands, illuminated signage which is predominately internal signage.

This role also would require somebody that has experience in Production as although the majority of your time would be overseeing Fitters / Fitting yourself about 20% - 30% of the role would be in house spent working closely with the Director and the production team, supporting the workflow, QC, finishing and fixings methods.

Responsibilities of Head Sign Fitter include:

· To manage & action installations at client sites

· To manage & action site surveys at client sites

· Application of different substrates and display items; include the installation of window graphics and props.

· The application of all types of vinyl specifications to a variety of surfaces, both internally and externally

· You will be required to supervise work untaken by a team of installation operatives, ensure their work is completed on time and to the required standard.

· Support production with print finishing duties & 2D & 3D assembly

· Ensuring that quality control systems are adhered to and that required quality standards are met.

- Liaise with and oversee the work of sub contractors

Attributes, skills and qualifications required for Head Sign Fitter role:

· Full drivers license (ideally clean)

· Ability to problem solve and think on your feet.

· Good interpersonal skills and great team working ability.

· Good eye for detail.

· Reliable with a flexible approach to work.

· Well organised with effective verbal and written communication skills

· Good awareness of health and safety legislation and required H&S practises.

· Has a great ‘can do’ attitude.

· Takes pride in work.

- Ideally have CSCS, IPAF, PASMA, ASBESTOSS AWARENESS and WORKING AT HEIGHTS training

Salary:

Up to £38,000 doe

Working schedule: 

Working hours will be between 6am and 10pm depending on the allocated shift 

Mon - Fri

Regular overnight stays will be required
