Due to continued success, they are looking to add an additional Production Engineer into the Production Team who will take the lead on the machining side of their business, take a look at the below to see what you will take the lead on;

What will you be doing as their Production Engineer?

  • Review new product design drawings and identify what tooling is required and how the new product will fit into the current production workflow. 
  • Spearhead the Continuous Improvement activity for the production floor, analysing production data to identify bottle-necks and put forward ideas to improve 
  • Support the other Production Engineers with Programming using CAM 
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager on production workflow

What do you need to demonstrate on your CV in order to be shortlisted?

  • Right to work in the UK, our client is not able to support either immediate or future sponsorship requests
  • A mechanically biaised Production Engineer, due to the nature of the clients products and processes, individuals require a mechanically biased education and workplace experience 
  • Familiar with CAD/CAM programmes such as Fanuc and Heidenhain. 
  • Worked on Continuous Improvement projects
