Claims Team Leader
£31,000 to £32,000 dependant on experience
Oldham Based
Office based role – 1 to 2 days home based per month
9am to 5pm – 30 lunch break
Free car parking on site

I am excited to be working with this client who are experiencing continued growth and are seeking a Team Leader who will be instrumental in supporting them to meet client targets and provide an excellent level of customer service.

You would be managing a team of 10 with a real mix of experience from apprentices to senior level claims handlers. The team work well together, are hardworking, want to develop and grow the business.  The culture is very much built around development, promoting from within, upskilling, delivering excellent customer service and having some fun along the way.

The main duties will be supporting the team with escalations, and this is why you must have experience within this sector to be able to manage this through and reach the desired outcome. Your technical ability is essential in this role.

The direct line management will involve 121’s, performance reviews, supporting with development plans and ensuring that the team deliver their goals. You will need to be able to demonstrate your previous experience of direct line management.

The onboarding process is extremely thorough with 121 training on bespoke packages to ensure that you have the knowledge to be able to be successful in the role. This can take up to one month but is incredibly important in understanding the business and the way they operate.

Once a month you will be asked to be on call for a night or weekend to deal with any out of hours escalations.

There is an opportunity to earn a yearly performance bonus.

The team are very sociable and enjoy nights out and company events throughout the year.

The company is located on a local bus route and there is free parking on site.

This role is to start immediately dependant on notice periods.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
