This London based company specialises in providing bespoke packaging, including printed, and off the shelf packaging products.  With a commitment to creativity, quality, and customer satisfaction, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional packaging solutions to clients across various industries. As we continue to expand our clientele and grow our business, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join us as a Sales Representative, focusing on bespoke packaging.

 

As a Commercial Business Development Manager, you will offer bespoke packaging solutions, from boxes, bags, gift packaging, e-comm, tissues, ribbon, cardboard boxes, corrugated as well as postal packaging to name a few. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by prospecting, acquiring, and nurturing client relationships. Using your expertise in packaging and your understanding of client needs, you will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities, presenting bespoke packaging capabilities, and delivering tailored solutions that exceed client expectations.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify and generate leads through targeted outreach, networking events, referrals, and digital channels to build a robust pipeline of potential clients interested in bespoke packaging solutions.
  • Conduct Consultative Sales: Engage in consultative sales conversations with clients to understand their packaging requirements, branding objectives, and product specifications, offering customized solutions that address their unique needs.
  • Present and Promote Solutions: Showcase our bespoke packaging capabilities, including custom designs, materials, finishes, and embellishments, through compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals.
  • Collaborate with Design Team: Collaborate closely with our in-house design team to develop and refine bespoke packaging concepts that align with client expectations, brand guidelines, and project timelines.
  • Build Client Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations, serving as a trusted advisor and resource for bespoke packaging expertise.
  • Stay Informed and Innovate: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the packaging industry to identify opportunities for innovation, differentiation, and continuous improvement.
  • Track Sales Performance: Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions using CRM software, providing regular updates and reports to management on sales performance and market insights.

 

Person requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales within the packaging industry
  • Strong understanding of packaging materials and production processes, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively to clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-making, and close deals.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate changing priorities and business needs.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
