Are you a results-driven financial leader with a passion for large format graphics and a track record of success in the large format graphics industry?

 

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial strategy, ensuring sound financial management, and collaborating with various departments to enhance overall company performance.

 

You must be aa seasoned financial professional with previous industry experience, capable of driving financial initiatives and maintaining adherence to our financial targets and procedures.

 

Your key areas of responsibility will include:

 

Financial Oversight:

  • Command and oversee all financial observations and inferences in the operation of the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve our costings, invoicing and pricing structures across the board to minimise errors and maximise conformity across our company.
  • Support sales and business development staff with standardising their quoting and financial processing, ensuring staff members adhere to established financial protocols and that as a company we are abiding by our financial targets and boundaries.
  • Identify areas of financial or performance weakness and present possible options for improvement.

 

Business Analysis and Reporting:

  • Clarify and separate financial aspects of new and existing business, providing monthly reports and presenting input for strategy to cultivate revenue from existing client base or prospect for new clients.
  • Create quarterly forecasts and annual budget based on targets, reporting actual figure variances to those forecast and proposing strategic adjustments.
  • Generate growth figures with detailed explanations for negative and positive variances.
  • Cost Management including how the business costs are changing, why, and how we may improve or mitigate them.

 

Staff Financial Management

  • Manage overheads effectively, optimizing costs and implementing efficient cost control measures. Analysis of financial effectiveness of staff.
  • Oversee the approach to staff appraisals, bonuses, commission structures and contracts.

 

New Business Targets:

  • Evaluate financial investment into new business opportunities, providing detailed cost projections and analysing direct and overhead costs.
  • Own the financial performance of the business, aligning financial strategies with organisational goals.
  • Focus on obtaining and delivering accurate financial information to support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement systems and processes to ensure the reliability and integrity of financial data.
  • Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar financial leadership role within the large format graphics industry.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and explain financial concepts to non-financial personnel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional accounting qualification is preferred.
